TIPS:

•Re-wet the paste applied several times with lemon juice.
•Apply a mixture of lemon and sugar, atleast twice, to the dry area.
•After the tattoos are dried completely get some steam passing through cloves over the gas and apply Vicks for a good darkened color.
•Avoid staying close to the air conditioner as it dries up the mehendi.
•Scrape the paste off the skin. Do not rinse it off.
•Keep the area moisturized with olive oil. Also apply the oil after washing the area.
•Avoid using any harsh soaps (like ivory) or products with any alpha hydroxy type ingredients. Keep in mind that the henna stains are on the surface layers of the skin, and anything that removes the surface layers will remove the stain with them.
•Avoid anything that contains chlorine, mainly cleaners and pool water.
•When the Mehendi starts fading and appears patchy, it can be removed by applying cosmetic body bleach.
